Congratulations Slugger for coming in 1st Place in the scratch building contest with a beautiful trestle. 2nd Place is ZPeter's Saloon. Third Place is RVN201's Station. Tied for Forth Place is ZFRANK's gondola and Pray59's Boxcar.

Here is how this works. Slugger gets first choice from all the prizes. (Slugger let us know here in this thread)
When Slugger tells us his choice then ZPeter chooses from the remaining prizes and so on. We have five winners and five prizes so if you guys get your choices in we should get this all settled. AS SOON AS EACH WINNER MAKES THEIR CHOICE FROM THE PRIZE POOL PLEASE CONTACT THE PRIZE GIVERS AND TELL THEM YOU WON THE CONTEST AND MAKE ARRANGEMENT WITH THE GIVERS TO MAIL THE PRIZE TO YOU. I would like to thank everyone who voted for me in this contest. I would also like to thank the other people who entered the contest, all the pieces were very well done. As my prize, I would like to choose the Station by the Gray Brothers. I have wanted to get one of thier pieces for quite a while and now im the proud owner of one. coming back from a weekend with my wife in Cologne I was really surprised... and the morning starts like Christmas (as I had to choose a price ).
Thus may I thank those who endowed the prices - I was very hard to decide. At the end I choose the Gray Brothers Barn from Socalz44 as it fits the best to module I created the saloon for.
Next a big thank you for all who voted for me.

I'm just getting back from the NMRA Mid-Continent Regional Convention in Cedar Rapids, Iowa where Ellen and I displayed our modules to the delight of many who had never seen Z scale before.

Thanks to everybody voting for my D&RGW gondola and the ones organizing this contest. Hopefully this contest will stimulate others to start scratch building as well, since scratch building is fun.
