The trailing car with the smaller box on is apparently used to transport the horizontal stabilisers and part of the undercarraige. A part length box is used to leave free space for the overhanging tail section of the fuselage to swing on curves. Cars with full length boxes transport wing sections.

In a similar vein, I found this pic of a flatcar load at this website

There are loads of pics of unusual loads, worth a look.

Any guesses what this is? ( a rhetorical question, if you can't tell, you'll be suprised)
