Rob, I also have a question. If all the sets of the 53' well cars are already sold out at the manufacturer how do you or the manufacturers decide on the production limits? I understand about products gathering dust on shelves, but what about those who did not pre order? Are they just at the mercy of some ebay seller who is speculating? Curious minds. Jim

Wow you guys are on to us. Yes we purposely introduce errors into the runs, then produce way too few. We then hide 100s of extra sets that we push out through eBay under assumed names while making millions of dollars. Smart business plan, right?
As for pre-roders, dealers do have the option to establish standing orders. Dealers who are part of the standing order program receive a fixed set of products based on their request. I highly recommend customers establish a good relationship with their authorized dealer. This will give them an inside track to new releases and products. It will also help the dealer plan their requests and AZL to produce appropriate quantities. The feedback we receive from dealers, such as their standing order quantities, is one factor companies like AZL determine runs.
But don't fear... companies like AZL can always make more..... and will. Of course, we have lots of great products still in inventory. F59PHI set anyone?
As for typo, mistakes happen. Fix it, accept it, or treat it as a collectors item. At the end of the day, it is what it is. But it would be nice to point out just how many details AZL did get right. Let's face it, beside one bad 'R', they really did a stand up job on these four cars to closely match the prototypes.
