Aztec Track Cleaning Car was created by markm
I was wondering if anyone has experience using the car and obtaining replacement pads.

Nope Not here! I use one of those real fine nail foam boards. they keep my hands just far enough away to not break anything. and it does a good job with little effort. Plus I find all the bad spots where the track is connected together and just run over them a couple times and there fine and the trains run good. I can even reach inside my bridges.

Garth,
You're right, it's a cordex wheel. How do you like your unit?

I run it all the time at shows right behind loco or locos, once track is cleaned and I used only metal wheels from FVM on my cars no plastic or delrin ones this device keeps the track clean, and if track is clean wheels stay clean and leads to faultless running for the length of the show.

Does the Cordex wheel scratch up the surface of the rail much?

The wheel does not scratch the rail head at all A bright boy erasure might , but the wheel does not have enough pressure on it to scratch surface of rail head, It might if you took it out of the car and hand bombed it across the track, like a bright boy.
