Casting foam mountains in sand

This is so awesome. A great way to make the dirt-like textures of a road or track cut through hills or beach cliffs or river and lake edges.

Jeff, Back in the day when I didn't know much about any kind of modeling I tried this method. It worked, but I couldn't use the finished piece. It was a mess. I didn't know the fix for the problem until now--The plywood over the container of sand with weight on top. Guess, I will try it again. Cheers, Jim CCRR
