Update on my layout progress

Update #1:
My presence has been pretty scarce here on the board lately due to the new job position. I have finally been able to get back to work on the layout and its parts in the last couple of weeks.

Saturday I finally broke out the bridge I had been working on. I added the interior straight ribs and cut the exterior ribs to length.

The photo shows an older picture, but you can see the ribs in the prototype pic. I now have to work on the part that I've been dreading - the slanted ribs. The reason for the dread is that the walls of the bridge slope outward. This means it will take a bit more effort to cut them. After those are installed, I have to file the ribs flush with the walls and wrap the top.

Of course with Thanksgiving at our house impending and Black Friday after that, this week is not looking good for train productivity at our house. I will get pictures soon.
