This changes everything - Rokuhan's 90 degree crossing

I drew it with a pencil. I could try scanning a drawing. Just imagine the above drawing, make a mirror image and connecting the 2 at the crossings, and run a double track off from the 2 tracks left on the crossings. You can then make a mirror image of that and connect those together in sort of a long dogbone. I don´t need fany software, just a pencil and a piece of paper and a big eraser. I probably build somthing like this when I was 5 with a wooden Brio Bahn train.
With the 2 trains in a cloverleave,or dogbone they are still going in same direction, but one would go east while the other west. Guess you could do same thing with a ballon on each end. IF you had 4 big modules and one in the middle making a junction, then it would be a lot of train action going in all directions. you would have to make the loops big enough for thetrains to clear the crossings and look somewhat realistic. The other problem I see is, would a railroad run a double track , and cross it´s own lines, without connecting them?
I guess it would be better if it was done with software and you could figure out how much room it would take up. IF anyone could figure out my descriptions and post them here, that would be nice.

What I would like to know is will there be other crossings.I would like some 45s and 60s.Oh while I am typing will these mate up with the MTL track?I have way to much invested in MTL track to do a complete change over.

They will not join out of the box; you must remove the plastic joiners from the Rokuhan track and replace them with MT plastic joiners before the track will mate. Also, the roadbed is a different height, so the MT track needs to be shimmed up to meet Rokuhan track.

Rokuhan makes an adapter (R014) that should work with the flex track(although I haven't tried it).

While I can't speak for Rokuhan, I suspect 45 and 60 degree crossings would be lower on their priorities. Aside from the actual crossings, they would need to develop the appropriate sectional pieces to full out to a sectional track size.

Just got a nice email from Erina Okuyama stating that Rokuhan does intend to make North American rolling stock, but must complete track system and continue with Japaneese trains. Something to look forward to. Their efforts are NOT vaporware so lets see what the future holds.

I'm thinking of drilling a small hole for pierced ear loops and getting a set of crossings for Peggy- Sure would be a hit at a train show  -- She does have PORT and STARBOARD lantern earings. --Now maybe some of Stony's bulldozers...I better think about it some more :woohoo:

Best be careful of putting bulldozers in the black hole.
