It used to be that I kept track of the month by different methods, but now at least every two months we can hold our breath to see if the gorillas at the postal system will break, destroy, bend, fold, mutilate, or somehow just plain misplace our favorite magazine.

Last month was a bummer for sure for some and especially for the guy who had to scramble to make amends............you Rob. Were you having fun then?

How many got "lost" Rob?

Remember our fiasco back in 2005 when the PO broke many of the portals and we not knowing better assumed we could take the remainder down for some sort of reimbursement.......how wrong we were. Those postal folks sometimes really get my goat.
Am I the only one besides Rob that has had less than stellar performance from our friendly folks dressed in blue?

I am praying we won't have problems. As of last count, between 5% - 10% of the mailing disappeared. This includes all of the issues mailed to the UK and a good number that went to Germany. It has been an expensive month for us as we replace issues. We do account so much for loss, but this is nuts! I have met with our distributor and the USPS. We have the attention of both. Our USPS rep is quiet upset and will be monitoring this issue with us.

I really appreciate the patience everyone as shown. I know it has been frustrating not to receive the issue.

Okay, yesterday the current issue was dropped of at our local post office. Game on! Finger crossed that they will start arriving in the next few days.

As one of those that didn't receive the January/February issue I just wanted to let you know that the March/April issue arrived without a hitch. Sometimes we forget to thank people when things go right and only speak up when things go wrong.
Let's hope for continued smooth delivery.

Rob, I received my March/April issue a week ago here in Labrador. I never received the original January/February issue you sent but as I indicated before I did receive the replacement copy. Do you have any financial recourse against the postal service for your loss?

Jerry, Terry and Uwe, I really appreciate the words of thanks. We always like to receive feedback. It let us know people are receiving their issue and help us to determine the types of articles to keep running. Molnar's Bakery is turning out to be a very popular article. I am so happy that Istvan allowed us to run this piece and share his incredible layout. In the next issue of Ztrack, we will have one more article from Istvan. It is how he built a MOW flat car with water tank.

As for the lost issue, no we do not receive compensation for these. It is a loss for us. We guarantee delivery and expect a few issues to go missing, but this past time was unbelievable. What a frustrating experience. I am just very relived that the current issue is reaching mailboxes in good time.

Thank you again for all of your support. Ztrack would not exist if it were not for the support and encouragement of our Z community.

My first issue arrived today! Thanks for getting out so quickly. Agreed about Istvan's article. It gives good insight to scratchbuilding techniques in general, which is something I need.
