I was surfing on Wikipedia, and came around the Harry Potter sites. When I found the pictures of the platform with the trolley halfways in the wall, and the engine I knew I had a question. Then the hardest work was to find the numbers for the math part and create the result of 9 3/4. And as you could all see I messed that up in the first place. When I went to bed I thought about the question, and suddenly realized that I had made a mistake in it. I went back to my PC and wrote the correction.

I'm just wondering why Jerry didn't answered with the correct answers. The roadnumber he used the correct roadnumber just backwards for his question about the engine.

I posted my number question to see if I was on the right track (pun:laugh: ). Being pretty sure I was, I thought it might be another helpful clue. I thought you would catch the reversed number:lol: .
Do to restricted access to the internet I don't feel it is proper to answer if I am not able to hold up my end of the bargain (posting new questions). Before I could post a question after my last correct answer my access was reduced and others took up the slack (THANK YOU).
Hopefully this will be a temporary situation. This is a great thread, I have learned much researching these questions.

Good questions Eric. Fred and John may have the advantage on this one.
