Water Mill Animated

Made a short video. Not the best but you can get the general idea.



Bought the items needed to animate from Gizmoszone.com. Listed below are the items I got.

GMM0.3-14-15-P2 Mitre gear set
GH6124S-10 14rpm motor
GH612M Motor mount

Once the structure was assembled. I inserted the water wheel and brass rod. The mitre gear was a larger ID than the brass rod included with the kit. The way I fixed this, took a piece of shrink wrap, heated on brass rod. Then removed from the brass rod and inserted in the gear to take up the difference. Mounted the motor, then slipped the gear on the brass rod to mate with the motor gear.

So for around $25 plus cost of kit, it was a pretty easy project.

The little 14rpm motors (GH6124S-10) are back in stock at www.gizmoszone.com again. In fact they have all the parts listed here... but better hurry, I doubt they'll last too long. (I just bought 7 sets myself)!

Excellent concept and application. Does this mean real water? Jim
