Hi Again
I started scratchbuilding the Tropicana Distrbution center that is in NJ. for John Mui. The building is all styrene and will have some working overhead doors on the very large truck dock. For this model to work in the area John has aloted for it, i had to reduce the size of the building by about 30 percent. If we had made it any smaller, the finished model would not have the right look that John wants it to look like, and i agree.I hope you enjoy the photos and as always, please ask any questions you might like.

Steve,
It looks GREAT!!!!! I'm sure John is going to love it!!
I'm just wondering......are you planning to install some way to hold the doors open? Perhaps some pegs just above the walkway....or perhaps a magnetic strip in the same place. I really like what you did with the doors. The rest of it looks great too.

Mr. Styrene! Awesomeness! The only problem I see is... you're not charging Moose-head enough chips.

Steve:
Did you do all the door cutouts by hand? It looks very uniform. I see all those square cuts and I'm thinking a large Leigh router jig with a box cutter jig plate.

Hi Jeremy
The doors are all cut by hand with a mini straight edge and a number 11 knife. I first mark out all the doors in pencil and then if i can i will use my Chopper 2 to make 2 of the three cuts.I finish the third side by scribing it with the knife and bending and snaping the peice off. You just have to take your time to get good straight edges.
Thanks
