who was the person that sent in photos of his rotary coal dump unit,,,is it finished? any problems with anything, that you had to fix?
im building one myself,,its running ok, but it does buckle because of the nylon gearing i had added. i hollowed out a 3 inch gear, then glued it to one side. with a 12 tooth on a 25 rpm motor,, i somtimes get a snap, tho the gears are a perfect fit,,,it can move the cars out of their holders, popping a wheelset out off the track at times,,its really ticking me off. i might have to reengineer the rotation unit,, so i wouldn t mind a few tips on what you did for power. im in vernon, my summer home, so i only check my emails weekly, so dont get mad if i dont answer immediately. it just gets busy around here with family n skiing. ok. canada mike:woohoo:
