World Kougei ED17 Electric Loco Z-scale kit

There is a new Z-scale kit on the market... a Japanese ED17 electric locomotive. The kit is manufactured by World Kougei.

I recently picked up one of these kits. The body is pre-assembled. All the instructions are in Japanese. Each truck has it's own motor!

Joe, Since I have a Japanese ISP... even if I select your link to the Enlish page, I am automatically redirected to the Japanese pages.

I was on the reservation list. I was able to order three (I wish I had ordered more). As soon as I posted this thread, I tried to go back and order more... but, as you now know, it seems they are sold out again.

I'm still not sure if my order will be filled. I have a confirmation e-mail, but I'm waiting on payment details.

Of the three I ordered... one is for me and the other two have already been snatched up. As soon as I can order more... I will do so.

Folks... if you are interested in these, please send me your orders... so, I can know how many to order next time the window opens up.

I've just learned that this kit is completely sold out ... not just at Hobby Search, but also at the World Kougei web-site. Currently, there are no plans to make more. For the folks that got one... consider yourself lucky!
