Jim, here is one for the lawyers. I Googled "american steam loco" and got 13,900,000 matches. So much for politically correct. LOL I made note to to use North American in the future.

Terry, For a minute I thought you found 13,900,00 lawyers! I'm in trouble now. Cheers, Jim CCRR:woohoo:

Jim, put me down for one of the shells. I would like to try my hand at one of these conversions. After all, I can always replace the original shell if I don't do a good job at it. Of course, I'm still looking for The Casey Jones.

Hi Terry, Once the poll is finished tomorrow and the winner announced, probably choice B, then the manufacturer will let us all know when to make a down payment committment for shells. That way he will know how many to produce. Cheers, Jim CCRR:)

Jim,
This is great to here, even though I'm a devout SP fan I look forward to a new "North American" loco and you can definitely count on me for at least one shell.
I feel the lameness of the Mikado is in it's saturation of the Z market and the lack of other choices for those of us who can't afford AZL, not necessarily the loco itself. Frankly I can't wait to try the bullfrog snot on this loco and maybe we can have it pull some real freight.

Friends, The "J" Class Mikado won the poll by a large margin. A prototype with tender will be cast hopefully in the first week of August. Don't have info at this time for reservations. Remember final price will be determined by the number of reservations. Later runs of the Mikado shell will be at a considerably higher price. Approx. delivery date should be November. Cheers, Jim CCRR:)
