Oh! The irony! My copy arrived today, and for reasons known only to him, the mailman elected to fold the magazine envelope in half--and then half again, squeezing it into our condo mailbox sideways--I almost needed a crowbar to extract it. Back inside, I unfolded it as best I could, then removed the envelope... to see my layout appearing not unlike it had after UPS was finished with it. Somehow fitting, certainly sad. All the same, it was a good issue, in spite of the gorilla that delivered it.

How weird, It's my first copy ever that the Mailman did not fold in half. :woohoo:

I've asked Rob Kluz several times to add to the address on envelope of Ztrack- the expiration date - as many periodicals have done. This way- for those that don't keep maticulus records- :woohoo: - both Ztrack and the subscriber knows when to reup. Seems simple, but there must be a reason this is not done.

Thanks Thom!

Fred, we have been looking into adding it to the labels. But our more pressing issue is to over come the mistakes that our distributor has made lately. About a year ago, they were sold to another company. I need to make sure the new company can cut it or we are looking for a new distributor. I hate to do this since we have been working with them for over a decade.

And Fred. Surely you meant to write "meticulous" in your post? Maybe some irony that? Jim 8)

Jim- Schpellingz is not my best suit- especially when there is no spell check available. :S
I'm not sure Rob answered the question as to why the expiration dates are not on the envelopes- I saw a lot of words. I have requested it several times in the past and not just recently. I do NOT keep meticulous records. The renewal always comes as a surprise. And the recent mix up of multiple notices only adds "incentive". (I looked that up) There have been some noticeable mistakes in Ztrack. For example- in the March/April 2012- the discription for the Massachusetts State car was for Tennesee. It just seems logical that both Ztrack and the subscriber be aware of the expiration date - this may even encourage more prompt payment for re upping. :)
Now where did I put that piece of paper with the date on it--which box, which room,,,, :woohoo:
PS- I in no way mean to insinuate there is anything nefarious. It just would be a nice courtesy.

I knew that Fred. I'm just messing with you.

I do agree that Exp. dates should be on the magazine label. It just makes sense.

How do you get the smilies to work? Jim

PS The powers that be took away my editing priveleges or I would have corrected your spelling for you!

Jim, dont fall for Freds plead of being a bad speller. He knows too many multi-syllable words to be that bad. :D
