Cabooses was created by stonysmith

It's been a while since I posted anything.. thought I should try to catch up.
Here's a couple of my latest projects:

Do you have any photos of a finished caboose?
Were the cabooses clad in metal or wood?

No photos yet.. Stony can't paint.
Both were metal sides.. neither was wooden.

After having to suffer for decades with the MTL lame offering of a center cupola caboose it is encougaging to see an offset model besides the sort of oversized Marklin example offered. Sadly, I don't see a 'woody' in these examples, but I guess anything is better than MTL's caboose. Oh by the way caboose is the correct work even for plural. Jim

All three of them come with their own chassis. If you follow the link to the Shapeways shop, and then use the 3d View.. you can see the chassis under there.

The 'floor' of the caboose is a separate peice so that you can add glazing or other details to the inside of the caboose, and then glue on the floor to close it up.
