Loren, they are indeed speeders. They are used here for Wilderness Trips. This particular picture was taken between Sept-Iles, Quebec and Labrador City, NL. They have to stop the tour and wait for the train to pass at 5mph. Not a big deal except these trains average 250 cars. Congrats, your turn.

Hey guys, honestly, I don't know anything about trains like you guys do. Every time you guys strike up a conversation about places, trains, details, I just go away. I do not read anything nor study any details like you guys do. I am a dumb bunny when it comes to trains and I only like to build.

Give me a bit and maybe I can think up something, but don't stay up too late waiting for some clever riddle from this guy.

Ok you wizards of tom foolery.......this is an early pre production shot of MTL's two bay PS2 hopper. I acquired it by sneaking into the girl's bathroom at MTL when no one was looking and I hid in the last stall until closing time and then went foraging through Joe's office after dark to find what I could find.

It sure beats a lousy tee shirt, but it probably won't end up being worth anything even though I believe it is the only one in existence today. At least the only one I'm aware of.

Besides the picture quality being short of pure trash, there is something wrong in the picture. This was photographed by yours truly in Portland several years ago.

Find it and you will win absolutely nothing.......no points, no cupie doll, no free Z Track magazine subscription, no sample pack of unassembled 905 couplers, nothing, nada, zilch. But,..........you will get to take the helm of this wacky tour boat.

Ok Ok since EVERYBODY wanted to know-- The term to let the "Cat out of the bag" means to tell a secret, or betray a confidence in todays lingo. It's origins are nautical, where the Bosun has a bag with a cat inside.. The cat is a small handled whip with several leather strands and weighted ends. It was used to impose punishment aboard ship-- Flogging-- Noone wanted the "Cat out of the Bag". Now you know everything.

Loren- I got it! you put it on the track basakwards.

This is my last try- Honest! The middle vertical rib is missing and no brake wheel and it should have SANTA FE markings.
