- Wasn't meant to be an oil spill. It is actually a walnut based ink so more brown. Didn't dissipate the same as the India ink wash. Hoping dull coat will knock down the shine and if not, maybe just make it a dirt and gravel yard to cover it ;-)0
- Nice start. Looks good. Just for your information: this is an original Gas tank, no storage for oil. So oil spills would be not realistic. Here a link to the origin. It's located in Köln www.bilderbuch-koeln.de/bilder/köln_gas_...562_978x1304xin.jpeg0
- Yes dull coat is the next step. I put that in the photo description when I uploaded it but I now see that the information gets put at the very bottom of the page so after a few comments, out of sight.0
- May I suggest a spray coat of dull coating to hide the shine? Most structures unless made out of glass and shiny metal will usually not shine much after a short period of time.0
- Michael, I like the tank! nice Job on the start of weathering! looks like you got a oil leaks there looks like you need to call in a environmental Hazard team to clean up that oil spill weathering. It might cause economic Impact on your layout.;-)0
