- I believe the models are released in June as I've always purchased one of each plane that comes out and it is in June I seem to recall. But lately my recall is not so good:sad: I keep thinking the airplane series will end, but it goes on year after year. So many planes could be modeled.....they're cute;-)

I will be checking that loco to see if it could be used in a certain situation as Fred alludes to. I'll reconnoiter the enemy camp and report back...........cover me, I'm going in.;-)0
- P.S. Don't go running out to the Hallmark store yet--The models are not out yet- only the catalog- looks like October...0
- Sorry Boss- Mini's are way to small--read preveous comentary above--but Loren could paint the engine to mimic his UP 3344.. with some clever crashing and bashing.0
- Wouldn't it be cool if the work train was close to Z? Just a quick measurement, my MTL caboose is almost 1 3/4" long, my Marklin caboose is about 2" long, and my MTL 40' boxcar is about 2 1/4" long. The measurements I given are for the bodies length and does not include the couplers.0
- Yo- Froggie!! None are really Z... The middle 3- Caboose, tender, and pufferbillie, might be close to Z. Just like the Turbines, Freedom Train, etc, that several members converted the heavyweight passenger cars and even motorized the engines. Randy Schmidt will probably break out his kalipers and abacuss. Unfortunately some in the past have scoped out to N- but several were really close to Z!!
The MINI's are closer to T scale- way to small for Z but could possibly be used as a "Train Park" like where Loren plays---or way up in the mountains in the background for forced peseptive. I really like the Mini's. Each set carries with it the Lionel style details- or lack of thereof. :-)
As for the rest, tractor, fire engine, and plane- Forgetaboutit!
I just posted the new pics to edify and expand our great and vast communal knowledge. ;-)0
- Which ones are Z-scale?0
