- Froggy- I was more young and foolish. In retrospect, I could have cut a hole in module to adjust height of stien- but that wasn't in the cards in those days....
And yes- there are a lot of big sharks in washington...;-)0
- WoW! That's a BIG shark!:o

derF! Why o' why did you cut the top off the Bud beer stien?0
- Fred, the common theme in DC is the rotunda. No matter where we went, there was one.0
- Right you are John. But on the other hand- Not-- This dome is an exact replica of the Dome in Washington,DC. It WAS the cover/top of a very limited (read $$) Budwiezer Beer Stien, that depicted scenes from the Civil War. It is made of pewter and I had to think long and hard before I cut it off the stien. Lady Liberty does stand tall on the DC Dome..but on the Stien they used Lincoln- as he was president during the war years. I have another complete Capitol building and it's dome is topped with a charm I got in Greece of Athena- Again not correct- but I have yet to find a charm of Liberty near to scale.
It's also interesting to note that many of the state capitols resemble the DC dome---Yes- there are many exceptions as well- but even Puerto Rico- and "Cuber" look similar.0
- Fred, I was under the rotunda last month, and that is not the dome of the US Capitol. The one on the Capitol has lady liberty on it.0
