- Jerry, The truck cab was scratchbuilt. The forward section of gooze's base and after house with stack are etched brass.
Fred0
- Great kit bash Fred. What truck cab did you use for the goose?0
- Fred, thanks. I really love this era stuff. Of course, now that I know what I am looking for, I will have to do some research. Might just have to do make one myself :-)0
- The front of the Goose has a big Jackalope catcher.;-)0
- Terry, This is a crash and bash. Most are MT flat cars. The "engine" is not powered- it's a static model I'll place it on a side track. Check out Torja's NEEDLE EYE site. He has video and great pictures. There were several Galloping Gooses on the Rio Grande. They were built up from old trucks, busses etc to service areas of few passengers and small freight loads.
Fred0
- Fred, you have any history on this set?0
- What a nice looking set. I really like the old time stuff, just hoping that my Marklin stuff doesn't box me in.0
