- Really neat Fred! You can have fun practicing on shots like these. Try darkening the light a bit in back by the trains. You can also try darkening that part of the room completely (in back by the trains) and then use a spotlight to light just the locos (a helper holding a good flashlight held close might do). Move the locos so the nose is almost in the tunnel and light’em up (well, if that 8800 (?) had a headlight that is). That way the background won’t show and only the trains coming right at ya will! Most important, just have fun trying things.0
- Kin--I try to hide the lines from one module to the next. Bushes and trees covering the meeting joints, or a removable building that actually is half on each module. Here the tunnel covers the mating of two modules-- the reason the tracks end is to allow a Marklin adjustable track piece to be inserted to connect the main tracks. The upper part of tunnel can be removed to gain acces to track and overly zealous trains that might jump the rails.0
