- Terry- interesting you picked up on that. I was surprised when I saw it. Not shown in the picture (off to the right) is a big 2'x3' canvas ( painted like sky) standing on the arms of a chair, vertically, against the back. This was necessary so the mirror would pick up the sky tones and not my mug or other background riff raft.:-)- not sure how the deep blue got there- might have been a postal box setting on the seat- below the canvas... Oh, well- I'll claim I planned it that way because it did make a neat effect. I have yet to master mirror manipulation.;-)0
- I love that backdrop Fred. Where did that blue water behind the house in the mirror come from?0
- I especially admire JR's pictures-the attention to detail and to make Z appear as big as life. I get a kick out of his BIG PICTURES- where he has a Z scale diorama teetering on the edge of a balcony railing, 90 stories up (maybe) way up in the Swiss Alps, and other pictures that show a sence of scale.<br />In a small way, ( By no means am I anywhere near Jurg's class) I wanted the viewer to see how this picture was made. It was set up fast, with no real attention to details--but to show how playing with mirrors can be fun. John Allen- Gorre and Defeated fame- got me using reflections. It can double the size of a used car lot, make one train look like two, used in tunnels and subways, and make one building look like two.;-)0
